Lemurs, and Tigers and Crocodiles, OH MY! Join us this summer for a wild adventure in Summer Reading with our Tails and Tales Summer Reading Club for children Birth- Entering 6th Grade. Record books to earn prize packs and chances to win raffle baskets. Complete fun challenges for more chances to win raffle baskets.  Even earn a prize pack when you register! Online Registration starts June 26th and the program runs until August 14th. For Teens

Sign up for this year’s Teen Summer Reading Program, Tails and Tales. Use your TEEN library card to register online and log in books you’ve read this summer. For each book you have logged in, you will attain a virtual ticket to be entered to win one of the fabulous prize baskets which will be displayed in the Teen Center’s Prize Form (Available on the PJFL’s Teen Webpage).
The last day to log in your books is August 13 before 5 PM. You must be registered for the Summer Reading Program in order to attend any of the programs presented by the Teen Center during the summer.
To sign up for Teen programs, you must be entering grades 6th – 12th and have a valid Port Jefferson Free Library card. Contact the Teen Center for more information.

For Adults

Celebrate both literature and animals this summer! Animals of all kinds roam the lands and soar through the air and many have both a Tail and a Tale! Read 5 books to get a prize and 7 books to complete the program. Don’t forget to enter our weekly raffles! Program begins on Saturday, June 26 and ends on Saturday, August 14.
