Museum Passes
The Library has a variety of passes, which allow free admission for a pre-determined number of guests, available for Adult PJFL cardholders (ages 18 and up) in good standing. Borrowers and their guests must abide by the rules of each venue, and borrowers must bring both the physical pass/a hard copy of the printable pass and their library card on their visit.

Museum Pass FAQs
How do I reserve a Pass?
All passes are reserved online. You must have a PIN/password for your library account.
Don’t have or know your PIN/password? Visit search.livebrary.com/patroninfo to create or reset one. You must have a valid email address on file, and can visit our Circulation Desk to add an email to your library account. We recommended you reserve passes well before your planned museum visit. Passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance. The eligible borrower’s name, telephone, email address, library card number, and PIN/password will be required at the time of reservation.
Print at Home Pass reservations MUST be made for the DATE YOU WISH TO USE THE PASS.
Pick Up/Return at Library Pass reservations MUST be made for the DAY BEFORE YOUR VISIT.
If you must cancel your reservation, you may do so online until 24 hours prior to your reserved time slot. If you cancel within 24 hours of your reserved time slot, please contact the library as soon as possible so the pass can be made available to other patrons.
How many days can I borrow the Pass?
Print at Home Passes are reserved for, and only valid on, the day of your museum visit and do NOT need to be returned.
Pick Up/Return at Library Passes may be borrowed for 3 days, including the day it is picked up and the day it is due for return. Example: if your visit is for a Sunday, you may pick up the pass on Saturday and it would be due for return on Monday, one hour prior to the Library’s closing time. If you wish to use the pass on a day the Library is closed, it must be reserved for pick up on the day prior to the Library’s closed date and will be due the next day the Library is open.
How do I pick up my reserved Pass?
Print at Home Passes can be printed at home or in the library during our normal business hours.
Pick Up/Return at Library Passes are picked up at the Circulation Desk on the designated date reserved. Borrowers need to present their library card and sign a museum pass user agreement when the pass is checked out. The pass must be checked out to the cardholder the reservation was made under. The Library is not obligated to honor your reservation if the pass is not picked up on the designated reserved date. Passes not picked up on time are considered forfeited.
How many passes may I reserve/borrow at one time?
A maximum of one (1) pass per household/family may be borrowed at one time. The same pass may not be reserved more than once per month.
When must the Pass be returned?
Print at Home Passes do NOT need to be returned
Pick Up/Return at Library Passes must be returned to the Circulation Desk one hour prior to Library closing on the day it is due. If the pass is not returned on time, an extended use fee of $20 will apply for each day it is late. Passes CANNOT be renewed. It is the borrower’s responsibility to know library hours and to ensure the pass is returned on time. Passes must be given to a staff member at the Circulation Desk — DO NOT LEAVE PASSES ON THE COUNTER OR IN THE BOOK DROP.
What if I lose or damage the Pick Up/Return at Library Pass?
As stated in the user agreement contract at checkout, borrowers will pay the full replacement cost of any pass lost or damaged during their loan period. The borrower is also responsible for any fees/charges the Library incurs as a result of non-return of a Museum Pass, which includes – but is not limited to – entry fees for the next borrower.
PLEASE NOTE
The Library is not responsible for venue closures and strongly advises contacting venues before reserving and borrowing passes.
Each museum sets its own restrictions and visiting guidelines and you must comply with their rules. Some venues may require additional reservations, have limited hours/ services, or charge extra fees for special events or exhibits.
